 Biggest drawback - no text read of street name August 29, 2008
I missed a few turns because it does not announce street name. In addition, it gave me wrong direction a few times.

Although it was refurbished, the TomTom looked and worked like brand new. It's a great value. Don't leave them on your window though, as my last one was stolen and I got a smashed window in the deal. I bought another TomTom because they are reliable, accurate, and easy to use.

I love my TomTom. It's fun, functional and easy to use. It's allowed me to expand my horizons without fear of getting lost or ending up on the wrong side of town. It's awesome!
Tom Tom's good and bads August 25, 2008
Works good. Starts up fast. interface is a little choppy and not easy to add new roads without hooking up to the internet.
Drove out on woods roads and plugged in go to home and it did not identify a route so I had to find my own way out.
Would be nice if it tracked where you went so you could find you way back or a trip tracker. But thats an up grade.
You can not plug in lat an long but it will show you your current lat and long.
All in all for the price it was a good deal. Works great.

I was a little hesitant buying a refurbished piece of electronic equipment, but I have been extremely satisfied with my purchase. Everything works perfectly, and was received in a timely manner.
