Nice Radar Detector October 1, 2008 This is the second Cobra Radar detector I've owned, and so far no complains. Pros: Sleek design, voice instructions, wireless remote controller, easy to install.
Cons: Battery of controller dies fast, keeps beeping on signals even after you disable them.
CAUGHT ALL RED LIGHT CAMERAS AND VIDEO CAMERAS September 21, 2008 This unit performed as advertised. Has minimal false alarms as I drive through the city, and has not failed to give reminder 3 warnings as I approached the red light zones.
As far as a radar detector, NY has so much traffic, potholes, and red lights that its hard to speed even if you tried. :)
Great product! August 29, 2008 Great product. However, will not work on 2002 Mercedes Benz S500 due to built-in infrared deflector on front windshield.
Useless. May 12, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Useless. Too many components and too complicated. I was expecting something simple with no wires. It turned out to be the most complicated with a lot of wires running around the car. It is back in its box and in the bottom of the closet now.....
Disappointing March 24, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
First, I passed way too many police cars with or without sirens on without any reaction from the detector. It also beeps quite a lot for false alarms. The mounting installation is not top notch...I have to find inventive ways to try to keep the unit strictly horizontal because just tighting up the screws do not do anything. Last but not least, the cigarette lighter power cord did not work on arrival..The customer service did a good job sending a replacement for free and quickly but I am under the impression that my case was far from unfrequent. In conclusion, I am not impressed and actually disappointed.
