Good maps, but not worth buying July 12, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Yes, the maps are amazing, but they really are only fun if you play xbox live, or use a system link, very few people use a system link so to be honest if you dont have xbox live, there is no point in buying this pack. However, even if you do have xbox live, you can download these maps within Halo. At the moment, Warlock, Containment, Turf and Sanctuary are free, but to download the other five new maps it will cost you seven pounds. But by August 30th these five maps will be able to be downloaded free of charge. This was the case for Warlock, Containment, Turf and Sanctuary as well, after June 28th they were free.So all in all, if your planning on buying the expansion pack, it is only worth buying if you regularly play system links with 8-16 players, or if money is buying a hole in your pocket and you are too lazy to log onto Xbox live and download the content for free on August 30th.
Just Buy It! July 9, 2005 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you loved Halo 2 multiplayer then this add-on pack is quite simply a must buy! For the price it's a steal! Go buy it now!
A Fantastic Multiplayer Expansion Pack ! July 7, 2005 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
After playing through all 9 maps I can honestly say this is going to be great fun in multiplayer. There is Warlock, Containment, Sanctuary, Turf, Backwash, Elongation, Gemini, Relic and Terminal, which I think is the best because it has a running train on it which you can dodge, or try to anyway. Most of the maps are great for Slayer and Team Slayer but some are better for Capture the Flag and Oddball. Overall Bangie have capitalised on the greatest part of Halo 2 but I wish they could have added a few maps to the extremely short campaign but that is not a complaint because this multiplayer pack is a must have for Halo 2 fans as it is just so damn fun.
Online maps.. Great for online games June 14, 2005 8 out of 29 found this review helpful
These maps are brilliant, I have the first four (which were alviable to download on xbox live content) The first four maps were; Sanctuary, Turf, Warlock and Contaiment.Sanctuary, is a medium size map, good for custom games and capture the flag/bomb games. Turf is a small town map, which has a warthog, and lots of hiding places. Contaiment is a ice map, with mines, huge bases, gates, and loads of vechiles. I've seen screenshots of the new maps, and they look promising. If you have xbox live, then you will love these maps! They are perfect for online gaming and mulitplayer games.
